Dear diary,

I had my last Kaipaki school camp this last week. When you get to be 10.46 or thereabouts you can get into Berkley, and that is where I will go next year.

Anyway, Mum did the catering again this year. She really likes to do that. Some of the kids think the food she cooks for 80 of us is so wonderful they cannot decide which meal they liked the best. It is pretty good but not like what we eat regularly at home! Those are Mum's footprints in the picture too, and I am in the group in the distance. It was a pretty cool camp.

This is a group of us bushwalking. Mum and I are in there, it is kind of a "Where's Wally" photo. You have to know that I am wearing a striped T-shirt and a blue cap with a fawn brim to find me, even if I tell you I am almost dead center of the picture.
